What Do Sessions Look Like?
Whether individual/couple/family sessions, oftentimes we will begin sessions by exploring your symptoms and understanding your goals for therapy. I will often apply a wide variety of modalities and strategies to provide the treatment that will help you the most.
When helpful, we provide homework assignments to work on outside of sessions. These may be anything from practicing specific therapeutic techniques (mindfulness, thought logs, etc.) to reading webpages to answering reflective questions.
